CMDA North American Liaison Office and LifeSciences BC held a workshop on the business environment of Chinese Life Sciences Industry in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Aiming to provide North American pharmaceutical and medical device companies with updates on the Chinese life sciences industry, the workshop featured topics of SDFA Registration and Regulatory Updates, the Chinese Hospital System and Establishing Distribution Channels in China. Attendants of the workshop included professionals from life sciences industry, government agencies, law firms and research institutions.
The workshop invited Mr. Long Shen, Consul and Chief of Science and Technology of the Chinese Consulate General as guest speaker, who presented on government policies and programs developed jointly by Canadian and Chinese governments, as well as assistance programs accessible to Canadian and BC companies in the biopharmaceutical, medical devices and biotechnology industries.
Attendants of the workshop included professionals from life sciences industry, government agencies, law firms and research institutions, who appreciated the opportunity to gain insight into the dynamic Chinese life sciences industry.
